Lil Peppers is designed to introduce girls to the FUNdamentals of softball.

Girls will learn the proper way to throw, hit and field the ball. 

Teams are based on age, school they attend and home address.

Parents are a huge part in making this a success. 

Each team will need 2-3 parent volunteers. 

Head parent coach of each team will get player fees waived.

(If you are willing to coach in any way, please add that within the registration).

Girls will participate in practice/games 1-2 nights per week (depending on age group) June through mid-July. The players will also have the opportunity to participate in skills clinics held in late May.

New in 2022 - MAGFA has added 2 Nicollet teams to our league. 

Teams will be asked to travel to Nicollet 1-2 times within the 6-8 week season.

We are also very excited about the possibility of having a couple Maple River teams join our league! If this happens, teams will be asked to travel to Mapleton 1-2 times within the 6-8 week season as well. We will keep teams posted regarding this.

Everyone participates regardless of skill or ability.

6U: Ages 5 & 6 

Tee will be used most of the year.

Game days: Tuesdays

7U: 

3 pitch max player-pitch with coach-pitch backup.

Game days: Mondays/Wednesdays

8U: 

We are implementing the use of a spring-loaded pitching machine this year.

Game days: Mondays/Wednesdays

Registration deadline is April 15th

Costs are: $75 - 6U and $95 – 7U, 8U

This includes the cost of the jersey/shirt and team pictures - You will need to provide your own black shorts
