Uniforms for all age groups can be tried on at United Team Elite (UTE), located at 1420 Lookout Drive, North Mankato (507-720-3055) beginning March 12th.

All girls need to order a jersey - Mankato Peppers will provide 1 jersey

Order sheets should be filled in and submitted to Ashley (ashleystaunton15@gmail.com) by March 24th. Any orders placed after March 25th likely will incur a late fee and shipping fees at the expense of the ordering party. 

Uniform numbers will be assigned to each player

Uniforms will be distributed by your coach before the first scheduled game (all player fees must be paid first).

In addition to the jersey being provided by the Peppers, each player will need the following items:

• navy blue softball pants (If you know older girls that have grown out of their pants or don't need them anymore, check with them to save some money)

• helmet (orange helmets are optional and will be available at Play It Again Sports only)

• fielder's mask

• fielding glove

• bat (some will be available for use with the team equipment)

• Cleats/tennis shoes

• belt and sock colors will be decided by team/coach and players expense

All items can be purchased at UTE, Scheels or Play It Again Sports.

League games will be played on either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday evenings as listed below:

For ages  8 - 16

Description: For beginner to intermediate skill levels in the

10U, 12U, 14U and 16U age groups. This is a fun, competitive fastpitch softball program. Games will be played against town teams from around the Southern Star League. http://www.southernstarsoftball.org. Some of the towns the Peppers Southern Star League teams travels to include: Lake Crystal, Blue Earth, Montgomery, Wells, Gaylord, LeCenter, Jackson, Worthington, Windom, Fairmont, St. James, Waseca, Cleveland, Springfield, Maple River.

Commitment: Doubleheaders and practices may be scheduled 2-3 nights per week. Teams will be entered into the Rising Star tournament, Southern Star League Tournament, and have the option to compete in the State Tournament. Practices will start in early May with league play starting in late May/early June and ending in July. Teams will only be formed if there is enough interest in that age group.

Team Formation: Teams will be formed following a scheduled evaluation days held in early spring. We encourage all girls to participate so we can balance teams according to player skill level and position (pitchers and catchers).
